Managing a Project for Success


Managing a project for success is an important skill. In this session we will review the five process groups and basic planning activities as defined by Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) including: scope management; cost management; risk management; quality management; human resource management; and time management. Participants will discover why it is important to define how to manage for the PMI knowledge areas before starting to execute a project schedule.
